Katalina Deaven is the communications coordinator for the Center for Media Engagement at The University of Texas at Austin. Previously, she was the on-air marketing manager at CBS 21. Her work in broadcast news received recognition by PromaxBDA (winner for News Station Image and finalist for Special News Report) and the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters (winner for Outstanding Television Promotional Announcement/Series).
